Following the huge success of the Facebook SME Bootcamp and subsequent UK tour in 2015, Clive was once again awarded the contract to produce the Facebook Boost your Business European Tour in 2016.

More than 50 million businesses around the world have a presence on Facebook, allowing them to reach the 1.5 billion people who visit the social network each month to share and connect with the people, places and local businesses that matter to them.

The Boost Your Business events educated small to medium sized business owners and marketers on the power of Facebook and Instagram. Over the course of the day, delegates learnt from other businesses that have leveraged digital solutions like Facebook to connect with new customers, grow awareness of their brand, drive new sales and see their business flourish.

When it came to the live event, we devised an inspiring environment that felt welcoming and approachable, whilst bringing to life the theme of growth and small business/start-up culture.

Our task started with a mighty search for the perfect venues and locations in 10 key cities across Europe. We needed easily accessible venues that could host a main plenary session, networking spaces, an Instagram lounge and three break-out sessions.

Our Creative Services team got to work building a website that promoted the event and registered and canvassed over 8,000 guests. With 10 different cities targeted, the website was translated into nine different languages.

When it came to the live event, we devised an inspiring environment that felt welcoming and approachable, whilst bringing to life the theme of growth and small business/start-up culture.

Our production solution needed to be flexible enough to travel well and be adaptable to fit in venues of all shapes and sizes. Our concept was a modular stage set and market-place, built almost entirely out of vintage fruit crates, which were white washed, highlighted in blues and greens, then dressed with green foliage. We used light boxes with vinyls to bring the brand and key messages to life.

We also created a dedicated Instagram zone where delegates could be inspired by beautiful imagery and learn best practices for creating a visual diary of their brand story. We built a tactile and vintage looking structure, which consisted of spinning wooden blocks printed with stunning Instagram imagery to form an entrance to the lounge. Delegates passed under a neon Instagram sign before entering the lounge to experience a bespoke coffee bar, gallery and photography workshops.

Clive teamed up with live printing specialists, YR Live to bring some serious interaction to the event. The live printing zone allowed delegates to create their own personalised tote bags and t-shirts, designed with their logo, design or photograph.
