Slack are all about helping teams make their working lives simpler, more pleasant, and more productive. A life saver for busy teams, their unique app is now used by tens of thousands of companies worldwide to manage communication and cut down on inbox clutter.
Clive sourced the perfect venue in Victoria House Basement, an urban white space with natural daylight, exposed brickwork and a flexible footprint that created a great delegate journey. Nestled between London’s West End and trendy Shoreditch neighbourhoods, the location was easily accessible and, with a private entrance on a prominent street, the branding opportunities were fantastic.
The Amazing Teams Tour was Slack’s first European event, geared around celebrating amazing teams within businesses and the great work they can do when they’re able to reclaim their workday and communicate effectively.
Clive loved bringing The Slack brand, which is fun, colourful and creative, to life. Bold colourful graphics adorned the walls; occasional pillars were covered in Slack’s punchy brand colours. There were even robot canvases and emoji cookies – much to the delight of delegates.
We used polished woods and comfy yet industrial furniture to finish off the look, creating an environment that felt uniquely Slack and encouraged informal networking and knowledge sharing.
Over 200 guests arrived for a day of inspiration, with talks from a customer panel, made up of real life brands who had revolutionised their working day with Slack. There was also one-on-one advice available from the Slack helpdesk.
Following a main plenary session, our two dedicated breakout sessions ensured Team Leaders walked away with exclusive knowledge of Slack’s product roadmap and how to work better as a team, whereas Developers were armed and ready to build new apps or make current apps do more.
The day finished with a Happy Hour, where we created a street food market serving sour dough toasties, beef sliders and superfood salads. Lucky delegates also got a chance to take home some exclusive branded goodies from the Slack Swag Shop.
